Take me out to the ball game

This year Taylor and I had our first experience of going to spring training. My dad typically goes with his friends and Taylor and I had been wanting to go. Unfortunately,  BYU doesn't have Spring Break which makes it hard to leave Provo. It is our senior year and Arizona isnt that far away, right? Wrong! The drive was much longer than expected but Taylor, our friend Ethan and I loaded up and made the long haul.

We were able to catch two Reds games, visit with my dad and my cousin, enjoy the escape from the Utah cold and come home with a sunburn as a souvenir!

The weather the night of the first game was perfect and we had a beautiful sunset as the backdrop for our first game. We enjoyed the break from school and spending time with some hardcore baseball fans. We were able watch the Reds play the Giants and the Rockies, and from some pretty great seats. Now we can check spring training off our bucket lists and call ourselves true baseball fans!
