Ski Season

Winter Semester 2013 marks our very last winter in Utah. To fully take advantage of the beautiful mountains and countless ski resorts in our backyard we have spent a lot of time skiing this winter. Taylor goes up to Snowbird with his friends at least once a week and I have been going up to Sundance once a week for classes. I decided since Taylor loves skiing so much and as much as I wanted to learn, lessons from him were not going to cut it. We went to our separate resorts on separate days so I could improve my skills and so he could keep his sanity while I learned.

Now that I am done with lessons, we have gone night skiing together a couple times so he could check out my knew skills. Thanks to my awesome teacher Robbi, skiing together is actually fun now! No tears of frustration or giving up and walking down the mountain on the side of my ski's.

We will see if I am still saying that after Taylor takes me back up to snowbird with him, but as for now we have had a successful season. Once winter ends and all the snow is gone we are suddenly going to have so much time on our hands during the weekends without all these trips up the mountain!
